The Diary Game 20/12/2021- Christmas Has Already Begun With Many Surprises, Including a Visit to My Former School and the Honoring of Our Teacher

Today has been exciting because of a particular event that felt more like a school reunion to me. I had the opportunity to reconnect with pals that I haven't seen in years. We make friends in school, and we lose friends after school, as we have all experienced. Some people stick with you even after school and help you preserve nice memories in your mind at all times. Those you'll never see again after school aarr those you'll miss dearly.

We had a meetup at Asanteman a Senior High, which is one of Kumasi's most prestigious institutions. My excitement stems from the fact that the event provided me with the opportunity to not only visit one of the best teachers we had in school, but also to reconnect with old friends.

The arrangement was made to honor one of the teachers who has long been known for his unwavering assistance and support to students. Many past students, including myself, have benefited greatly from Mr. Kwarteng Bernard's assistance. Since 2003, he has had a significant impact on many stduents who have attended the school.

Bennito, or BT as we affectionately call him, was taken aback to see us at school today, as we had arranged our visit as a surprise.He was overjoyed to see that several of the students he had taught had gone on to become lawyers, teachers, doctors, and pastors.Those that came to see him today were of this caliber.

We made monetary contributions and purchased a few goods, then placed part of the cash in an envelope and delivered it to him. He was dumbfounded as a result of our thoughtful act, and he prayed and asked God to bless us.

We spent some time walking around the school inspecting ongoing projects, and as members of old student association, we intend to contribute our fair share to the success of some of them. We also had a wonderful time exchanging pleasantries with new teachers who were residents before bidding them farewell and departing to our various locations.
