Growing on Steemit takes time, yes, it does. Newcomers need to know this, it is doesn't happen overnight. To me it's like persuing a degree program in the university. You will surely read a lot of programs before you can be called a graduate.
Newcomers will not find Steemit to be fascinating till we begin to render the needed support for them. I felt like I have arrived on a different planet when I first joined Steemit. So many things looked different for me. It was the first time of getting an exposure into the crypto world.
It was indeed tough in my early days on Steemit, it was hard getting noticed and unless your content is good and you have a strong connections with some Steemit whales getting upvote was very difficult.
Building relationship with people doesn't happen overnight, it takes time. Writing good contents also take time, you will make more mistakes before you learn to improve yourself. These and many more may look discouraging for anyone who is starting fresh on Steemit.
Those of us who have enough experience must channel more time and energy into helping others enjoy their stay. It is the support I received from kind hearted individuals on steemit that sustained and brought me thus far.
Investing in people is the best investment we can all make for ourselves. Real happiness can be found in helping others. We find happiness when others are happy. We help ourself when we help others on Steemit. I believe it is one the reasons Steemit reward system consider rewarding curators or people who helped in upvoting others content.
Steemit will work better if we not self centered but become interested in the general well-being of everybody. By volunteering our time and energy in helping others we help to ensure Steemit growth.
Members can easily be retained this way for more growth. The support we give in any form can make newcomers as well as existing users have the sense of belonging. This gives them the morale to to do more and stay for the Steemit community.
For us to be happy we need for consider the happiness of others first. This gives better satisfaction. Steemit will indeed be a good place if we all support one another. Thanks
