A Brand New Car Xperience: Review 001

There are a number of us who love cars very much. Sometimes in the quiet, we fantasize about what cars we would ride in and talk about it also to our fellow car fanatics. But then the big question arises when it comes to whether we can afford the cars relating to our capacity to earn. Usually, we cannot afford such cars.

But then with today's edition of Car Xperience, we will look into one of the sleekest cars, very function and 'beautiful', if you know what I mean😉, but yet very affordable cars you can get; the Honda Accord Hybrid 2021

GENERAL OVERVIEW

This is just a preview of the beauty of the car, with snapshots of the interior and the grill of the car.

This hybrid system comes with a 2.0l turbo engine and a Lithium battery integrated with an AC electric synchronous motor rated 181 HP. With this, the car can switch from the default engine power usage to the electric motor powered by the battery. Honda integrates Honda Sensing into the car's AI, which helps with parking and traffic control. The additional features in the Honda Accord hybrid 2021 are: -Cross-traffic detection, which helps when you are coming out of a narrow parking space and helps determine the presence of an oncoming vehicle.

Blindspot Monitoring, also used together with cross-traffic detection, is used when reversing.
Autonomous braking.

The Honda Accord Hybrid 2021 is much shorter than the Hyundai Elantra and Sonata, which was not the case in its previous models. The front seat has some range of comfort, able to adjust the positions, same as the driving wheel, but this does not apply to the front passenger seat.

It also has a very large trunk, enough to fit 5 roller bags there(very large traveling bags). Also, Honda has provided a toolbox in place of where the spare tire is supposed to be but then is still extra space for s spare tire.

INTERIOR DESIGN

From the seats to the dashboard to the armrest on the doors, the car's interior is made with leather, in a simple but intricate design. A nice blend of black and somewhat cream colors, giving the car a cool, simple but beautiful design.

The seats are designed with a very comfortable headrest and a 'tear drop' like design at the shoulder pads, made with leather material. At the door, a soft armrest is provided to give comfort to your elbow. Just at the edge of the dashboard is either some design that looks like pores forming a pattern, giving it a texture but soft to touch, or a wooden-like design, coated with varnish, giving it a shiny look.

On the dashboard is an 8-inch LCD display with a brand new feature, a Wireless connection from a handset( mobile phone). As the name suggests, it is used to play music or maps wirelessly but there is a wire option available. It has a nice-looking and user-friendly UI.

Right under the display is a storage area and in that, 2 USB ports for charging devices. In Honda Accord Hybrid 2021, there isn't any gearstick, which of course people will not find comfortable but it creates space. There is also a very nice display in the display panel, which is partly LCD. The car has ECO mode for economizing fuel, just like its older models and Civic counterpart. Pedals just right behind the steering wheel allow to adjust to fit the driver's comfort.

DRIVING eXPERIENCE

This gives a summary of the car's driving experience

Acceleration: 0-60 MPH in 6.6s, which is quite fast for a car of such caliber.
Braking: 60-0 MPH in 124ft, which in my opinion is very quick and proves helpful in stopping accidents.
Handling: an 8/10 rating (comparable to a Camry)
Noise: 69 dB, which is rather quiet for a humming engine.
Fuel economy: this is rather dependent on the terrain of the journey traveled and the drive cycle of the driver but on average with a normal-looking terrain, not too many valleys, 34 MPG, hence a 7/10 rating.

PRICE

This can amount to prices starting at GHc 200,000, registration and everything included, and is quite affordable for just a small, middle-class earning family.

This car delivers more than the price slates and trust me, it will definitely give you a run for your money.
