Good morning dear family. Yesterday was full of excitement. I woke up early with the aim of going to school. After getting myself ready for the day's activity, I remembered Adoma's traditional marriage ceremony.

In this covid era, they wanted to do it simple with few persons in attendance. My lesson was gonna start at 7:30 am in the morning and I was left with one option. Whether to choose to go for the traditional marriage or go to school which is my optimum duty to perform.


I picked my phone and called her but, no one answered so I thought she was busily preparing herself for the program. There was no way I could also miss this great day in my friend and learning mate back the university. Hmm man so desperate. Later I drafted a nice message to explain to her why it would be extremely impossible for me to attend the marriage. I had a call from school that, there was going to be supervision for the internship students. And afterwards a short emergency meeting will follow.

Heavens smiled me on. This is an opportunity for me to go and feel the joy and happiness with my friend. She's been there with me all these years and there was no way, I was to miss this great day. The ceremony was beautiful and colourful just like her smiles. God has been good and I wish her new family all the happiness and love in marriage.

From the program, I left to school to continue my duty as a teacher. Service to God and man. I was able to do both thanks to the small opportunity I got from the emergency meeting arranged by the school authorities and the arrival of the supervisors. It's all the work of Someone Higher.
