Be back. Today I’ll like to share with you a sketch I made of Medusa.
Medusa was known to be one of three sisters who had living venomous snakes as their hair and also capable to turn anyone they looked at into stone(gorgons).Medusa was dated back to the Ancient Mythology of the Greek, in Hesoid’s Theogony, according to the Theogony she was born from Ancient Sea gods phorkys and Keto.Medusa was so attractive that she seduced Poseidon(Sea god) and he raped her in the Sacred temple of Athena. Athena was raged that she cursed Medusa , taking away her beauty . Athena turned her her into living venomous snakes and made her face horrific that anyone that looked at it will instantly turn into stone.
I decided to make the Medusa sketch because it’s a very interesting mythology and everyone has probably heard the stories.
Tools
- Pencil -for drawing.
- sharpener- for sharpening the tip of the pencil. ✏️
- Eraser- to erase errors.
- A4 sheet- a piece of paper to write or sketch on.
I decided to take pictures of step by step
