It is interesting to wake up on a Saturday morning only to find yourself being completely mesmerized under the sweet-scented aroma of our finest ingredients used in the preparation of chicken light soup after a sleepless night of cravings for a delicious delicacy. I don't know how many of you reading this have ever felt such an experience but I tell you, you will be definitely hyped up for a meal as soon as you make it out of your bed, but if you happen to be that very person everyone is waiting on to come and pound the fufu everyone will enjoy the soup with, then you are in for a gruesome body workout if you happen to be pounding fufu that is going to feed 10 mouths.

In my opinion I think fufu is best enjoyed by those who do not goo through the hassle to prepare the meal. The fufu making process takes time and expertise to achieve perfection from preparation to completion. With the inventions of fufu pounding machines and factory processed fufu and soup products, people can easily make fufu on the go without spending as much time as before to prep ingredients for the meal.

I find that the taste varies between the natural and processed fufu variants. Which variant is tastier to you depends on your preference. At the end of the day the expertise of the one preparing the meal also matters. If you also didn't know fuf is enjoyed on many west African countries and in a few international restaurants outside Africa. because of the availability of the processed variants you cannot miss out on fufu if you are outside Ghana and it it happens to be one of your favourite dishes. Fufu is quite a heavy meal and it is one of the ways to go if you want to remained satiated for a much longer period.
