This guy is supposed to have his seminar presentation today

He stays in my compound. In the compound, just the two of us are guys; others, five more, are girls.

You know this stereotype that girls talk too much? The guy deconstructs it. He talks more than everybody in the compound. Not as though we're close, but I'm the only person in the compound that manages few words with him, once in a while

He takes the girls up for quarrels, sometimes all of them against him at once, and still defeats them. A troublesome person who's also an annoying talkative—a very terrible blend. The five girls hate him in a way words can't express.

I once told him that everyone can't just hate him like that, there must be something about him he needs to work on, he needs to change; and he started calling names: Nelson Mandela, Goodluck Jonathan, Martin Luther King, and so on... He said it's a thing with successful people, or people who will be successful, that they are always hated.

Preparation for seminar presentation

Yesterday, he washed and starched his impeccable white shirt, his very fine navy blue trouser and his black suit, and hung them in front of the compound to dry. Then he went to school, I think.

It rained heavily yesterday

I came back from a friend's place when the rain had subsided, and saw my five neighbours, the girls, sitting in front of the compound and watching my guy's clothes soaked with the rain.

I smiled and entered my room.

My guy came back about an hour later and started shouting. Shouting and shouting and calling everyone a witch. After quarreling with himself for about an hour—it actually lasted that long—he went to his room and wept.

Seminar presentation is by noon today and sun never gree shine o

His clothes are still as soaked and as useless as they were yesterday.

Anyway, make him no come beg me to borrow am suit shaa, because those girls go kill me.

I wonder how he will manage to attend his presentation today.

Always try to be at peace with your neighbours, even those ones you think you don't need. A time will come when they will be of help to you in an indispensable way.
