THE DIARY GAME : 18/12/2020. STEEM GHANA-MEET UP AT SAPPHIRE GARDEN

Hello my dear steemians, i greet you all. Today is the happiest day in my life as the steem-ghana team will be meeting today at Kumasi to deliberate on how to strengthen steem-ghana and make steem stronger. As part of my preparations to go to Kumasi and meet my colleagues for the meetings, i woke up early in the morning and took my bath. I went into my room and dress up to town.

I called my colleague, @oppongk the country representative who is going with me on phone to meet me at the station. I waited at the station for some couple of time before he joined me at the station. At the station, we spent some time there because the car was not getting full for the car to go. When the car got full, we took off to Kumasi. We spent more than two hours on the way because of traffic. The traffic was caused by the vacation of students who were leaving the school to home.

Because of the stress we have been through on the way, we got tied and even slept in the car. We got there late and joined our colleagues in the seminar. They welcomed us and offered us some soft drinks to cool our body. We joined the discussion and exchange ideas. There were some new comers within us so the country representatives were introducing them to steemit. They explained clearly to them and addresses all their questions.

Macsam and other specialists in steemit answered all our questions concerning the challenges we are facing in steemit. The expects and the country representatives also thought us how we can gain more vote in steemit. They also talks about consistency which also helps others to know you and and vote you. It also helps to grow the community and keep steem-ghana active. They sign up the new comers and thought them how to write, post, vote and comment others vote. The steem-ghana team also printed steem-ghana T-shirt and shared to all the members who were present at the meeting. We all put on our T-shirt and took some pictures with it.

They also encouraged us to build up power to keep the community active always. They provided the opportunity for everybody to ask questions about what they did not understand. They took time to answered all our questions and addressed all our misunderstanding.

After sometime, the waiter came and asked us the kind of food we will like to take. Everybody demanded for the food he or she like. We were served and we started enjoying our meal. Some peoples demanded for fried rice and kitchen while others too demanded for jollof rice and kitchen. We were all enjoying our food and exchanging contacts from each other. We really have fun over there because the environment itself was cool and nice. The meet up also helped us to meet all those staying far from us.

When we finished with our food, the seminar continued for sometime before it finally came to an end. We all went out and took some pictures of our steemit T-shirt. We took the pictures in group and individually. Some were taking selfie while others gave their phones to others to take their pitures for them. We also took the pictures of the place.

It was getting late so we those from afar went and took a car to the main station to get a car back home. Because of the traffic on the way, we got home around 10:30pm.
