The Challenge of Starting My Career as a Midwife

Life hasn't always been easy and always express our Gratitude to the most high whenever we get the opportunity, the path was sometimes a bumpy road, other times it was just full of fog such that you could hardly see what's infront of you, with no certainty for what comes next or what the future would be but through all this the Lord has seen us through.

Before i share my very short story of how i overcame a life's challenge just when i was about starting my work as a midwife in a whole new place let me express my gratitude to @awuahbenjamin for such a great contest and to our leaders for their support thus far.

So after 4 years of studies and waiting home for a whole year for national posting i finally got the place of my choice in Accra and was moving there to work permanently. Movement took so much from me all my savings etc and so i was really spread thin by the time i settled in and it would take quite a while before monthly allowance from the government would come and so i relied mostly on the blockchain for support.

Then shortly afterwards my Dad needed to undergo a surgical procedure if we are to keep his health and everything. It was terrible news not only for me but the whole family because these were dark times and there wasn't much coming from anyone. It affected my work and mindset altogether and i had to really pull myself together and help my siblings sort things out.

Eventually we overcame together, with the help of my steem earnings support from family and friends my dad underwent a successful surgery and i was able to get back on track to focus and get my job done. And for the life granted by the Lord, I am most grateful.
