Use Your Own Discretion

Our belief in people and other things are sometimes overdone and overrated, we put our faith, our love, and our trust in so many things and individuals we forget to think for ourselves, we forget to make our own decisions, we forget to do things that ought to be done ourselves and from our discretion and discernment.

And so a lot of times, almost every blessed day you would come across stories of pain, disappointment, disloyalty, distrust, how people feel like now they have seen the world and how they can't trust people, and a whole lot. Many have been broken mentally and physically as a result and many have had to go through many terrible things.

Just because they decided not to use their discretion, trust their instincts and do things based on their wants and needs, their plans, and what they would want to have for themselves, or achieve, the greatness, love, good, etc. It is high time we made such efforts to rely on ourselves more and trust others less.

Yes, it is important to trust those you are with, especially if you are in a relationship since one without trust would hardly ever work out or thrive but then we have to be meticulous about how we trust, how much we put out there, and the importance of not trusting blindly. I believe that when we learn to do this a lot of pain that people experience would go down and we would learn to love ourselves better and more each day.
