The Diary Game: 28th April,2022 : Last Friday Of The Month

Hello to all steemians here,

Today was the 28th day of fasting which means that muslims all over the world are getting ready to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr festival. This festival is meant to mark the end of a successful fasting journey and is a day of joy and happiness.

When I went to the mosque today, we were reminded about the reason why we are fasting in the first place and encouraged to try and continue doing good things in society even after we are no longer in the mode of fasting.

I really admired a lot of key advice that the Imam gave during his sermon including the need to continue to be kind, respectful, possess good virtues and so on.

At The Mosque For Jummah

That is a serious challenge we have been facing. This is because many people usually fast for the sake of it. They simply go with the flow till the days finally reach.

But that should not be the thing. It is wrong to fast just for the sake of it. The ultimate purpose needs to be to attain righteousness.

When I got home, I sent my sister to the barbershop. She will be going back to school soon so she needed to cut it down. I had to take her to the barbering shop before it got too late and the man locked up.

Once she was done, we went home and went to bed sometime after.
