HOW I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS

Hello everyone in Steemit community.

I am very excited to take part in this contest. It is an opportunity for us to see how people celebrated their Christmas in and around us.
Christmas as we all know,is a very special time for Christians.we believe that our savior was born on that they so we Mark it as the special birthday of our savior Jesus Christ.

19/12/2020 MY SISTER'S WEDDING
I personally had a wonderful time during the Christmas festivities.
My Celebration began when my sister had her wedding on the 19 December 2020.
The wedding brought the family together.
The venue for the wedding was Kumasi Kronum, so I traveled from Nsuta to Kumasi to attend the wedding.
Since it was family time, We had a good time on the 19th,20th and 21st. So we marked it as the beginning of the Christmas celebration.

23/12/2020 GET TOGETHER PARTY
After the wedding I traveled back home because i had to attend a get-together party at Nsuta Anglican Child development center.
It was a party for the children and volunteer teachers.
As a volunteer teacher, I was available at the celebration.
We had a wonderful time. We eat drunk and made merry. It was Soo exciting.

23 - 24 /12/ 2020 SOCCER TOURNAMENT
The local council of churches organized a soccer tournament for all the churches At Nsuta. The tournament was scheduled from 23rd to 24th December.
I had injured my leg so I couldn't play the match.
But l was available at the pitch supporting my team.
We had a good time because when the tournament ended my church team(The church of Pentecost) came second.
We were given a set Jersey and football.
We were very much excited, singing and making merry.

24th-27th/12/2020 CHURCH CONVENTION
From 24th evening, the church started it's Christmas convention and so I attended. The program was scheduled to end on 27th Sunday morning church service . So I made it a point to attend.
As the church keyboardist I was there, performed my duty as expected of me.
During the service I learnt alot about Jesus Christ.
Because the service was a gathering of three branches coming together to worship, the atmosphere Abit different.
We had a great time.
I was excited to meet other people and made new friends.

24th - 26th LIVE BAND PERFORMANCE
Every evening and afternoon after church, I also went to Barimaba Spot to play keyboard for live band .we performed live From 24th to 26th and the experience was very exciting . I had a great time as people danced and made merry.we really had fun during that period.

27/12/2020AT APOLLO RESTAURANT
On Sunday ,that's 27th day of December, after church, some friends of mine and I went to have fun at Apollo restaurant At Nsuta. We bought drinks and plates of jollof rice. We had a wonderful time over there .It was really a day to remember .

28/12/2020 DINNER WITH MY FRIEND
On this day, I had another exciting time with my best friend. We planned of celebrating the Christmas with some meal. So we went and bought a goat at the market and other food items. We killed the animal and prepared a meal. We invited some friends and had dinner together. We had fun.
