Steem-Ghana Contest: How Club5050, Club75 & Club100 Has Impacted My Life.

It's almost two months ago when I first heard of the term #club5050. If my memory serves my right, it is @oppongk from whose post the tag first appeared to me and in his subsequent posts threw more light on it as an initiative that's going to replace community of the month program. Truth be told, I was no need for the #club5050 until I read more about it and saw the need to jump on the new craze on steemit called #club5050. One must be wondering the need for this initiative to the extent of organizing a contest on its impact. Well, I'll refer anyone who wishes to no the need to join the #club5050 to read a post by @oppongk👉👉👉source. This post I believe would answer anyone doubting the essence of joining the bandwagon of #club5050.

I always understand impact as something monumental one has been able to do with the inception of the #5050 challenge. Nonetheless, I have no concrete achievement or impact linked to #club5050 except;

Increase My Power-up

For just few months of this initiative, I have been able to power up almost a 100 steem therefore bringing my Steem Power to 276. This is not much due to my inconsistency in posting due to busy schedules and academic activities. Should the initiative be halted now, I can boldly attributed the rise of my Steem Power to the #club5050 initiative. If nothing at all, this I believe is a form of investment that would be beneficial in the long-term and would not only help myself alone, but would also help sustain my community and the platform as a whole. This gains might not be a mile stone for me to celebrate but at least is a stepping stone for me to reach minnow stage as a user if I continue posting and cling unto the club5050.

Helped me to stay in-touch on the platform

This might be seen by other as not an impact but contrary to that, the initiative has helped me to post or at least check on steemit despite my busy schedules. Since school resumed, My engagement and the rate at which i post on steemit has drop drastically yet, the #club5050 initiative keeps me on my toes and ring bells in my ears anytime thus, forcing me to come online and at least up-vote on a post or write a post myself. This could not be possible had it not been the club5050 initiative. Undoubtedly, I have been posting on steemit but I believe the instrument that has recently bind me to the blockchain is the club5050 thus impacting on my consistency.

Sacrifice

The #club5050 initiative has thought me the lesson of sacrificing in the sense that, those who are able to accept the challenge are already seeing its results. This has indeed shown me that, in life there's the need to sacrifice and invest in long in long term rather than the apparent short term. Already, I have started making something on my steem power and I believe this is as a results of my recent power-ups. Perhaps #club5050 would be over but its impact on me to sacrifice would be with me forever.
