The Diary Game: Eating Out In A Different Country (24/08/2021).

Hello Fellows,

I am currently living far away from home, Côte d'Ivoire. Good thing is I got a new phone so I will be frequent here from hence forth till it gets stolen or crushed again. Lol

I have been indoor since morning so I decided to go out with my colleague this evening to the restaurant to get some food to eat. We walked about 10minutes from our apartment to Chez Yvann, the restaurant as a means of streching out muscles and to allow room for the food we going to eat.

There is something worth appreciating here. Every food joint welcomes you with water before they take your order.

But unfortunately, they only had rice and lightsoup with chicken. We were not early today. Got the order. Everything cost 1000cfa(10.70ghc) equivalent to $1.79 which is like 3 steem

From there, we went and bought some short bread from the bakery. The girl were super excited to see my friend. He is more like regular customer and my helping hand too. They are happy to learn a different word in English. It's hard to not speak french but I am sure I will catch up with time.

How do you like the food there

It's almost like that in Ghana just that the pepper can be too much in the soup. It's just a blend of the Ghanaian culture

Hope you enjoyed the meal

For sure
