Being Good At Something Is Not Enough. It's Always A Question Of Who Wants It The Most

For quite some time now, many are of the vision that being good is enough to allow you to achieve great heights. For instance, if you are a good footballer, you are bound to at least be in a decent team. And if you are a good student, you are also very likely to attain success in life.

While this has some truth to it, it is not always the case. Our world of today is highly competitive, so talent is not enough to get you to your dream destination. It has to be combined with the desire to always work hard and always try to improve upon your skill or talent.

It is this desire that keeps pushing you to always yearn for more and allows you to truly learn your craft. We therefore must not be content with simply being good enough since there is always room for improvement.

Simply put, our mentality has to be so focused on growth and development to an extent that nothing will be able to stop us from achieving our dream goal. If you think you are good, there is always someone somewhere who is probably better and trying to improve beyond their current capacity.

If you are going to compete with others in a field, you need to be driven, passionate and disciplined to be considered above everyone.

It is therefore of the utmost importance that we are not blindsided by simple skills and must relentlessly work hard to be greater.
