Self Introduction

Hi there everyone,
I am Iddris Yakubu, A 23 year old and the 4th son of a family of 6. I come from the suburb of Tamale, Ghana.

I am a graduate of the University for Development Studies with a BSC in Biochemistry. Of all my life, I’ve loved to be in the field of scientific research. I undertook a field attachment program at the Council for scientific research ( CSR-SARI) in 2019 where I worked in a biotechnological lab under the supervision of a research scientist in Recombinant DNA technology. I am currently offering my national service in a medical laboratory here in Tamale called Tamale West Hospital (TWH). In the medical laboratory, we run a lot of medical diagnostic test such as Microscopy for malaria parasites, widal test, Elisa ( HIV) test, Hepatitis B and C screening and a lot more. I have been in this field quite a while now and I am learning new things as well.

I love soccer and I am good at the ball in the field. I love to socialize and make new friends. I do love to play mind games/ puzzles and the best of me is that I love to read and explore.

Through the attitude of loving to read a lot, a friend of mine who is already a participant of Steemit (@roma078) introduced me to this new community. For a while, I had wanted to try it out until I found out that, folks on steemit share a lot of ideas about cryptocurrency which I just started trading in a couple of months ago.

With the little idea and observations I have had from cryptocurrency lately, I would say it’s a digital way of exchange of one’s currency or goods for higher gains either over a longer period of time or instant purchases of other items. Bitcoin, one of the cryptocurrencies that is on a big move now can be used to purchase items via “black market” which is untraceable. Etherum, Stellar, Algorand, Tether are all cryptocurrencies with just bitcoin on a very big run.

I am glad to be part of this platform where I get to learn and share ideas as well.
