The Impact Of Steemit In My Life

At the beginning of last academic year, a lot of things began happening so very fast, so much so that I felt my world was crumbling right in front of my eyes. School was just reopening and there were a whole lot of expenses I needed to cater for. My school fees, accommodation fee, registration fees, books, clothes and many other things were the things I needed to settle before I could really have a free mind for the load of learning that was pending. Finance has been a major blow in my life ever since I got admission to the university to study my dream program. Every academic year, my father and I would have to run helter skelter from one place to another just to make sure my educational dreams are kept alive.

The story was still the same this time last year. We had to roam to all big men in my district to solicit for funding for my school fees and stuff. The trauma of having to miss lectures and delay in reporting to school all because of stringed capital is something I'll never wish for anyone I love. It is such a huge psychological challenge. Things were so bad for me.

Thankfully, everything changed when a very good friend of mine introduced me to steemit and how it could help transform my life for the better just like it did for him. Initially, I was very cautious and skeptical about it, for the fact it was an online venture. I was so because of the many disappointments I've encountered earlier in life when it comes to earning and working on the internet.
Nonetheless, I took up the challenge, as I saw i had nothing more to lose. After I asked and learned a few things about the platform and how things worked, I began starting bit by bit and finishing some of my achievement posts. I was not very active on this platform at first due to the lack of passion. However, after a few posts, I began earning some amounts through my steems and the votes I got from my posts. It was really amazing how simple and easy things were. I get to learn and even earn in the process....wow.

Being on this platform has really impacted my overall lifestyle, especially in terms of my living standard, my level of knowledge in cryptocurrencies, and many more. Though I've not made that much money from this platform to completely devoid myself of my financial challenges, I have however been able to cater for some few expenses in my life within this short time.

The most recent thing I used my earnings for was buying this new computer mouse for my PC.

I have also been able to constantly stick to a daily two squared meal and a snack within the two meals. Things are really working out for me at the moment and I hope to continue engaging myself more often on this platform.

As a matter of fact, I mostly envision a time will come where I can easily take up steemit as my full-time job and be able to commit more to it, as I know that'll increase my productivity for a complete transformation so I can easily cater for more expenses in my life including paying my school fees, accommodation fees, and clothes and also helping my siblings with their needs.
