Contest: How Steem improved Upon my life as an individual

As a single mother with 2 kids, life hasn't been easy for me, bills piling up, fees are nigh and the need to cater for my children was a headache that kept me up at night. All this was until I found the steemit blockchain. Although I was initially not active as I ought to have been when I got introduced I eventually learned, settled in, and got the hang of things.

Today I am happy and proud to call myself a steemian, I am so much grateful to have found this platform and extremely grateful to our leaders who have always been good to us from the start till this day, helping us find our feet and nurturing us to this level. Keeping up with us and being patient with us.

Today I have a power of over 1000 Steem for which I have delegated half of it to the community as my appreciation for the life-changing opportunity granted me. I do remember that time when my steem savings added up to help me clear my bills and how it even added up to me buying a fufu pounding machine to start my business which has also helped me immensely in getting some earnings by the side.

And so I believe this contest is an opportunity for me to express my gratitude to the steem ecosystem and its leaders for the many good things they have done for the likes of me, through their support in diverse ways. I am optimistic that this is just the beginning for many of us and I am hoping to continue to remain faithful on the blockchain abiding by all the rules and doing my best that I may continue to get support myself and my kids.
