Am highly privileged to participate in such an exciting contest.
This is one of the most exciting topics I’ve seen for a contest. How would you accept Steem as a legal tender. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge @njaywan for such a good topic.
Cryptocurrencies are the new evolution at the moment. Investors who started to invest in cryptocurrencies in the past few years are still running some huge profits. A typical example is bitcoin and the Ethereum. The two popular cryptocurrencies have made some huge profits over the years. That’s to say, cryptocurrencies are a very good incentive for investment. Yes, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile but the advantage of these assets outweighs the flaws.
As the president of Ghana, I would accept the use of cryptocurrencies in general. However, I would accept Steem for these reasons.
Steem has great potential for the future
Steem is the native token of the steemit blockchain which was established in 2016. The project was set to work with a distinct consensus algorithm called proof of brain. The steemians on the platform are required to create quality and authentic content to be curated. However, other users abused the great opportunity with their huge money. Hence, the efficiency of the project began to fall until 2020 when a good project was set to promote the steemit project. Since that time, steem has shown some great potential to date.
With cryptocurrencies, a good project plays a vital role in its growth and progress. Hence with such a great project of the steemit blockchain, steem is anticipated to move very far. That’s the first reason why I would accept Steem as a legal tender as a president.
Steem is more valuable than Cedis
Looking at the current value of steem, the price is more valuable than my country’s currency at the moment. Steem is currently worth around 0.4$ and Cedis is about 0.13$. This means, accepting steem as a legal tender in my country would be better than even my country’s currency.
Steem at 0.4$ is even said to be at its lowest valuable looking at the price chart. Steem is expected to break through the 1$.
Moreover, accepting steem as a legal tender would help improve Ghana’s economy. My country is a developing country which suggests that a lot more is required to improve the standard of the economy. Looking at most developed countries, most of them have accepted cryptocurrencies as payment. Hence, accepting steem as a legal tender would be a good start to improve the standard of the country.
For employment and investment purposes
Steem is the native token of the steemit ecosystem. With steemit, users can generate steem just by posting quality and authentic content which would be very easy for most educated people in the country. Accepting steem would create employment for users who would further explore the steemit ecosystem to make money.
With investors, they can buy some steem to power up their account to curate people to earn money as well. More to the point, the steem price steem is certain to rise in the future. That means steem is a very good project to invest.
The reason why am saying steem is certain to rise in the future is that looking at all the cryptocurrencies with a good project just like steemit has flourished significantly. That’s gives a very high guarantee that steem would rise in the future.
Thanks for the attention
Ccc.

As you said, currently steemit is more valuable that the Ghanaian cedis comparing it with the dollar. Great analysis and great point to base on to suggest to all to accept steem as a legal tender.
Thanks for participating in the contest and all the best.

Great entry buddy. Excellent points raised. I particularly admire the “pro of brain” concept you mentioned. It will surely bring down corruption and increase transparency.
Thank you for your participation.
