The promotion of steemit has given us the opportunity to meet a lot of people. No matter the race, color, status, or tribe, we speak to them. I must say, it has been a good experience. Thankful to @delakloe and @steem-ghana for this contest.
I've had interesting conversations with people and most of them asked how the steem experience is like.
Most of them are interested to know how steemit differs from other social media websites.

My take and what I seek to achieve with steemit going forward.
For these newbies to enjoy their stay on the platform, I take time to explain in details everything they need to know. I show them proof of everything and the benefits I've gained since I joined this amazing platform. I take time to also advise them of what they are likely to face when they join: be it the scarcity of upvotes and how they should react to this.
It takes patience, determination, and love for writing in order not to give up on steemit. Developing a love for writing is enough motivation to ensure a long stay on the platform. The rewards steemit provides also encourages people to give out their best in producing quality content.
The future of steemit is promising. I am always happy to let people know and help them to join steemit. The leaders of the various communities on steemit are also doing marvelously well. I will use this opportunity to tell them how grateful we are for their efforts and dedication.
