Hello @njaywan,

Good advice but just one recommendation:

You have used a free image from Pixabay. Pixabay says the author of the image didn't ask for credit to be given but it is appreciated for the image author to gain exposure. Their recommended attribution is

Image by Bessi from Pixabay

On the face of it, this attribution format gives credit to the image author, without your readers having to click the "source" link, which I reckon most of the Steem users wouldn't anyway.

Why would you deny that simple act of showing gratitude to someone who has labored to give you a free image?

@juderita,

Thank you for highlighting the importance of using attribution formats to show gratitude even when not asked for.

There are many people who expect others to give them graciously but would not reciprocate in equal measure easily unless asked for specifically as a condition precedent. That is the reason why Creative Commons insists on attribution and provides best practices.

Hi @juderita,

The image here is from Pixabay which is widely known for its collection of images that are free to use without any form of attribution.

Please visit the pixabay homepage, you would find this excerpt below.

Pixabay is a vibrant community of creatives, sharing copyright free images, videos and music. All contents are released under the Pixabay License, which makes them safe to use without asking for permission or giving credit to the artist - even for commercial purposes. source

Thank you for the concern.
