The diary game || My Sunday activity || 04 September 2022

Hello, fellow people of this lovely community, I hope everyone is doing great. Well, I am also doing very well.

I am very excited to be sharing yet another Sunday with you. This day was going to be exciting because I had to go to church and then proceed to go and watch the long-awaited football match between Manchester United and Arsenal. I am a Red devil so I couldn’t wait for it.

I woke up early on this day to finish up some uncompleted personal typing work. After that, I just went straight to prepare for church service. The day was going to be a long day since, after church, there was going to be a handover ceremony.

I finished preparing at exactly 8:00 am and left for church. I met with a friend at the junction leading to my house.

We stood there for a long but to my surprise, we couldn’t get a means of transport so we decided to walk to the church premises. We got to church late and I felt a bit bad because I hate to report late to anywhere I am going. They had started before we got there but joined them.

After about 2 hours, we were done with service and it was now time for the handover ceremony. For those who have no idea what this is, it’s a ceremony where a batch of executives hand over their positions to new ones.

The program was very nice and the outgoing executives were very emotional because they loved serving the church. They were encouraged to continue with their service as the lord has promised to reward those who diligently seek him.

The new ones were also encouraged to do their best to help the Church grow. After about an hour, we were done with the handover ceremony.

After church, we had to go visit people who were not able to make it to church. We had to walk for over an hour to go visit the last person. Everyone was exhausted when we finally got to the place. Because we were very tired we went straight home.

I didn’t go straight home as I wanted to go watch the match. The match started at exactly 15:30 hours. A lot of people came supporting Arsenal all in the name of “they want Manchester United to lose”. After all the noise, my team won the game.

I left the place very happy waiting to tease people the following at work. I left the place to my home, ate some food, took my bath, brushed my teeth, and slept.
