MY ANTICIPATION FOR STEEM GHANA COMMUNITY IN THE NEXT 2-4 MONTHS BY @lukman1

Hello fellow steemians, it's a pleasure to come your way today to share with you how I anticipate the Steem-ghana community in the next 2-4 months. But first of all, I will like to give praises and thanks to the Almighty Allah for keeping us alive and healthy. I will also like to give thanks to all steemians here for the support and I will encourage everyone to continuing steeming on.

To begin with, Steem-ghana as a community on the steem blockchain and on the steemit platform was created in order to bring steemians across Ghana together. It does not matter which part of the country you reside in, as far as you are from Ghana, you share equal rights as all steemians in this community. The Steem-ghana community is also so accommodating to an extent that, it accepts steemians all over the world to participate in the activities the community organizes. I will say a very big thank you to the Country reps and leaders of this community for this great initiative of accepting steemians from other countries. It goes a long way to bring peace, harmony and progress to steemians on the steem blockchain.

For the growth, progress and sustenance of the steemit platform, we the members of this community as well as the leaders need to have a set goals to achieve within a certain time frame. We cannot just be here because we want to be here but we should have bigger dreams and plans in order to make this community one of the biggest community on the steem blockchain. How do we achieve that? That's the question here. I believe each and everyone of us have something in mind that we all thought if we put it into effect, it will go a long way to have a positive impact on this community.

I also have somethings which I believe that if we take it into consideration, it is really going to help us to achieve our aspirations and dreams as a community. I will try to elaborate them below in the form of points.

Now, I will like to explain as to how we can achieve our aim as a community in the next 2-4 months with this points stated above. Let's begin.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

One may ask, what's the meaning of community engagement? or what is community engagement generally talking about?. Let me make it simple in my understanding to you.

Community engagement is literally talking about how steemians on this community interact or live with each other. This interaction is in the form of taking your time to read what other users post, commenting and giving your opinions on others post, upvoting them as well as well as giving them recommendation as to what to do in order to progress on the steemit ecosystem.

Most steemians usually feel reluctant to read what others post not to talk of commenting on them. This really discourages others because they feel like they are doing nothing. But if we all try to at least leave a comment under each post, I believe it will motivate the authors to post more of their articles because they know definitely that others are reading their articles.

I will also like to plead to the leaders of this community to continue with their hardwork because it is really helping a lot of us. I have observed that, almost all the leaders of the community have been upvoting on posts in this community. The votes they have been issuing is really motivating and encouraging members to keep on posting good contents. One thing I will also like to note is that, we the users should also make it a habit to continue powering up our SP in order to also vote on other users post.

PROMOTION

Under this, I will say that, I am looking forward for this community to hit more than 2,000 subscribers by next month. We cannot achieve this if we are reluctant and not inviting friends and families to join steemit. We should try to use the smallest opportunity we get to inform others about steemit, not only informing but also convincing them to join the platform. We should also help them subscribe to this community in order for us to build the numbers.

One thing that can also inform people without necessarily talking to them is the constant wearing of the customized Steem-ghana T-shirt. Me for example, I cannot count the number of people who joined steemit through my Steem-ghana T-shirt. So I will encourage members to develop the habit of wearing them especially in big occasions just to inform others about this platform.

MEETING UP

When I first joined steemit and Steem-ghana community, I was told by my friend and boss who is in the name of @abu78 that there was a telegram page for steemians in this community. I also witnessed him attending a meeting there only once. I was expecting to get links in this community directing me to join but I never come across one. Funny enough, I have never heard anyone talking about that telegram page in this community.

So I think the leaders should try to share the various links here for us to join in order to get in touch with each other. I think it would feel good for us all to come together one day to share contacts and meet each other in reality. Some newbies sometimes find it difficult to navigate through the steemit platform but I think with constant meeting, all this problems will be solved because guidelines will be given as to how to go about the activities here. I am hoping to see either WhatsApp links, telegram links or zoom links for us to meet and get to know each other better.

SOLICITING FOR FUNDS AS WELL AS SPONSORS FOR THIS COMMUNITY

For a month or two now, I came across a post by the community leaders informing the members about how they are looking for business entities to sponsor this community. I must say I was very happy reading that article. I was really happy because that was a positive development. So I am expecting that, in the next months to come, this dream of ours will be achieved. The numbers in this community is not small and we are growing each and every day, so it will be good for investors to invest in this community because they will be benefiting in return.

I had an encounter with some of my colleagues here and some of them were complaining about how to get their Steem-ghana branded T-shirt. So I think if we have sponsors sponsoring this community, they will take care of that and make sure each member here get a customized T-shirt of this community.

As I said earlier, we all need to have some aims and plans towards the growth of this community. And with what I listed above, I believe there are other members who will share the same views as mine.
