Hello my follow steemians,
It has been a while since I last shared my diary with you.
I have been busy throughout this week.
We started our end of trimester examinations last Monday due to that, I spent most of time with my books to prepare myself for the exams, spending less time with phone.
We kick off the examination on Monday 5th with Africa Studies, this course was first introduced in the United States Of America in the late 1950s and 1960s as a response to the rising tide independent nations on the continent of Africa. In 1967, a group of African-American students also protested in San Francisco State University (SFSU) and this led to the creation of the first Bachelors degree in Black Studies. Consequently, the first Department of Black Studies was established in SFSU; chaired by one Nathan Hare. Additionally, African-American Studies also emerged around the same period (i.e. in the 1960s). It is however worth noting that while most scholars of African Studies were predominantly white, the scholars of Black Studies and African-American Studies were predominantly Afro-American (with a strong Pan-African orientation or focus).
The lecturer did test our knowledge on that course with some light questions about Africa, the cultures of Africa and how religion came into existence in the continent.
On Wednesday 7th, we wrote on our second paper of the examination.
The name of the is Public Administration. This course shape and prepare students for the public sector as well as the private sector.
Students are taught how to manage both sectors, the systems of government being used in a particular country and how to do away with corruption as corruption and bribery has took our way of things the wrong rather than the right way.
The questions the lecturer brought in our examination surprised us but a University student you had to always prepare for your examinations and expect any kind of questions within the course you’ve been taught.
This was questions we were examine on.
We didn’t find it easy but we did try our best and I hope I will have a B+ or A in the course.
This week was a rough one for me…. You won’t believe what did happen the next day as I didn’t too expect that to happen but what do we have to do since we are to learn and get ourselves prepare for the future.
The next day, Thursday 8th, we were back at it again but this time their it was Fundamentals Of Entrepreneurship. All the students in our class liked this course because all of us dreamed of becoming entrepreneurs after our study on campus here.
The questions which came in the examination didn’t surprise us at all because everyone on this world always find it interesting and more fun when they are asked to write about what they want to achieve or where they want to be in the future.
As the invigilator said start work every student had quickly start expressing themselves on the answer sheet. Everybody were done before the times were left with 30 minutes to stop work.
I hope you all already know the grade I’ll get in this course as I have said earlier but all things being the same I’ll get A+ in this particular course.
This was the questions.
Then on Friday, we were left to rest and prepare ourselves throughout the the weekend for the forthcoming Business Mathematics on Monday.
This gave me the opportunity to have a chance with my and share with you my diary for the week.
Thank you for going through my diary and I hope you all will be voting massively on my diary.
See you next time. 👋
