As humans, it is very important for us to build ourselves and improve upon our very own reputation as time goes by. This means that we should always try our best to improve upon our standards.
As a society, this is very important because people are ranked according to their status. Thus, you don't expect to be treated the same everywhere.
How do you achieve this high societal status? It is simply by adding value to yourself.
Value addition is a very important thing is life. This is a measure of your impact on society or a given locality. Simply put, what can you offer?
Once you are able to answer this sufficiently, then you know you are of great value to the society within which you belong.
The world is now a competitive place and before you are given an opportunity, you are investigated to see what value you can bring on board.
Soon enough, the value you can bring on board would determine what offers will be available to you.
