THE DIARY GAME - 06/07/2022 - SICK DAY, VISITING THE HOSPITAL

Fellow steemians,

I hope you are all as fit as a fiddle. I have been sick for some time now and didn't know what was wrong with me. I have always felt some dizziness but did not understand what it meant. I thought it was because of my ulcer but I had been taking my medicine so I didn't fully understand it.

But this time round, I happened to faint when I was with a friend of mine. I was hurried to the hospital where I was checked on.

THE TIME WE ARRIVED

I was awake on the way and upon arrival, they allowed me to skip the line due to my situation. I was sent to the opd to collect my hospital card. If I was there before, I would have been allowed to see the doctor but since this was my first time, I needed a card.

When I saw the doctor, he told me that I had to get my blood checked. I therefore went to the lab to get the test done.

The lab procedure did not take so long to be done. The lab expert was so nice and spoke to me every step of the way. I am not a big fan of needles but if it is going to help me get better, then so be it.

After everything, the doctor prescribed me medicine which I went to collect.

AT THE PHARMACY AREA

At the pharmacy, I had to pay 50 cedis since my medicine was not covered my insurance. I am surely going to take my medicine on time seriously to help me recover quickly. Thank you.
