Let me translate the inevitable to you. You'll die. How and why and what for and where you die is important, but mostly to those you leave behind. THEY'll be the ones quibbling back and forth over social media. YOU, my friend, would be rotting in an irretrievable, plumbless sleep. The fake love, the quaking cry of your bereaved mother, the adulation on your headstone, even the hateful neighbours at the back of the canopy snickering at your cheap coffin, would all be lost to you.

Because death is forgetting.

Let the fickleness of these days remind you that no one is promised tomorrow. Life and LIVING are the first gifts you truly have. Don't waste them withholding laughter, and burdening your soul with falsehoods. Don't waste them pursuing dreams you know you will regret in the evening of your life.

Let the fickleness of today focus your sights. Let it remind you that you are wasting time and emotions. You're wasting an ATTEMPT, a TRIAL. You're hording them inside a chest that longs to see the world. You're betraying them with apologies.

If you love someone, verbalize it. If you're taken with an idea, a code, a value, internalize it to your core, and live it. Don't be a hypocrite of abstractions.

You will die, that we know. Whether you'll live, is up to you.
