Greetings everyone,
As part of our efforts to make steem ghana more vibrant, we have been making efforts to keep in touch with our steemians and try to get them to be more consistent on the platform. I strongly believe that every once a while we can visit our steemians in the various households to inquire about them.
One challenge I really battled with this week is that of the frequent power outages in the country. It is simply becoming too much. I normally have a power bank to charge my mobile device just in case but it also went off yesterday as well. I hope we can work something out very soon but for now, we need to make do with what we have.
Today, I phoned my good friend Eric, who I hadn't heard from in a while. I then encouraged him to post on steemit since he had been offline for a while. It was then that he foubd out that he had actually misplaced his steem keys for his account @junioreric. Since he didn't have his master key, I couldn't help retirieve his account.
This was when I decided to go to his place so that we can work on setting up a new account.
At Eric's place helping him set up his new account
I had to take him through the steemit platform once again since he seems to have forgotten his way around the platform.
We then worked on setting up the new account (@kofijnr) through steemyy.com. This time round I assisted him to save his keys and not lose them.
Once we were done, I was with him within the area trying to catch-up on what he's been up to. We then parted ways.
Having some conversations with him along the way
I then decided to visit the design shop at the Buoho station where I have been printing the steem ghana t-shirts. Lots of interest regarding this t-shirt have been received so I had to talk to him about it
I even inquired about a banner which he said he can do as well. This will be very useful in our promotional activities.
Visited the design shop to inquire about more t-shirts
Upon arrival back home, I was contacted by @magcarnie who was facing challenges in signing up newbues at keys and permission session.
We worked on the problems and things seemed to have sorted out.
Working with @magcarnie to set up a newbie's account
I would like to thank my colleague country reps @oppongk and @nattybongo for the good works they are also doing on their end. Indeed, we win together.
Thank you for your attention.
We do win together bro, team work makes the dream work, great work done
