MY TOWN IN TEN PICS - Buoho, Kumasi - 3rd December, 2020

Hello everyone,

This morning, I was able to gather another set of photographs along the main road of Buoho while I was jogging along the road towards Afrancho. This main road is filled with stores and items which are on sale since it is a vantage point to attract lots of customers. Let's now look at the photos I took.

Beer Bar

This is one of the first entertain centers you would see as you are heading towards the main road. It is mostly opened at night for people to come and have fun and share a few drinks.

Hausa Koko Seller

Hausa koko is one of the many Ghanaian breakfasts which is appreciated by everyone. Hausa is among the many tribes in the country and koko simply means porridge.

Hotel Gravinia

Hotel Gravinia is one of the best hotels we have in the community. They have a restaurant, bar/lounge as well as a hot tub. It's probably the best hotel we have in Buoho.

This is where you can find different kinds of rim for your vehicle. They put these ones closer to the road so that it can readily attract customers to their place.

Caterpillar trucks for sale

This particular company sells various types of caterpillar trucks. These quite are very useful in the community since there are lots of rock work needed at the quarry.

This company specializes in the sales of tiles. They sell floor and wall tiles, both in bulk and retail. They also have workers who can properly install them in your house at a cost.

Here is the entrance another stone quarry in the community aside the Cymain Stone Quarry. They also produce aggregates used for the construction of roads.

Nasona Fueling Station

This is one of the many fuel stations situated along this road. It is an excellent site for these companies as many private and commercial vehicles use this road.

This is a wood processing shop located along the road. Carpentry and wood processing is another major occupation of the people here so there are many of such shops around our community.

Chicken Selling Point

In this month of Christmas, most foul/chicken breeders will start to display their chicken for sale. This particular seller has started quite early but very soon, we will see more along the road.
