Checking up on newbies has always been a top priority of mine. This is because, they can only learn and truly appreciate the entire ecosystem once we work closely with them and help them understand how to go about their steeming journey.

Today, I got a phone call from a steemian friend of mine who happened to be in Kumasi. He had arrived at a town Krofrom, not too far from my place so I made it a point to pay him a visit and check up on him. There was quite some traffic on the road since it was a Monday but eventually, we arrived at Krofrom.

Here, I took to the road downhill as per the directions I was given and in no time, I found him. The weather wasn’t that good and it was about to rain.

It was good to actually see that he liked the town after visiting for the first time.

I then decided that while he was here, now will be a good time for us to visit one of the eateries around. Peter Pan at the Kumasi Mall seemed like a good place so we chattered an uber and went straight there.

We place our order and waited for our food to be served.

It was quite a delight to have been here with Speed. We spoke a bit about life and Steemit in general and then parted ways. I know he will surely pay me a visit too.
