THE DIARY GAME : 31/01/2021 : CLEANING, WASHING & TYDYING UP MY PLACE

Greetings everyone,

Today was the last day of the weekend which meant I that I had to do my final clean ups before my busy week days set in. I had to set today aside because I was very busy on Saturday with activities including

that of some media work with Lumier Tv on campus.

I therefore made it point to start cleaning up very early today. By 7 am, I had finished up my final assignment of hydrology and had finished up my breakfast.

I then swept the floor of the room and then fetched a bucket of water to begin mopping the floor. I had to shift the chairs and tables out of the way to make sure I could effectively tidy up the place.

I then moved on the the louvre blades of the room. Sine we are in the harmattan season, there is lots of dust in circulation considering the rate at which air blows. It therefore leads to mass accumulation of the surface of these louvre blades. This made it necessary for me to clean this side too.

It was now time to wash my clothes. I collected all my dirty clothes and fetched water to begin washing. I was only washing this week's worth of clothes so they were not that many. In about an hour time, I was done washing them and went to dry them on the dry line.

The good thing about the harmattan season is that once you hang something on the dry line, it dries up in no time. As expected, in about 2 hours time, my clothes had dried up like magic and I bought them home.
