Hello Guys, I am very happy to tell you that now my admission is through in University of Cape by Distance learning. I would be attending face to face lectures on weekends, which means that it would not take much of my time, especially on steem and my other personal life in business arena. I had managed to pay 2000ghc with the help of my steem earning to be frankly speaking. Thanks to @steemitblog & @steemcurator01 who through this Diary game hub has and other initiatives have powered me quickly as possible.
Nice scene shot pics after my orientation with other fresh students
So, in the morning, I quickly took my bath having the reporting time in my mail as 8 o'clock prompt. I picked a taxi to Mampong and alighted at Simple store junction waiting to Okada to pick me to Mampong Technical College of Education where our study centre is located. Our centre is just on the Campus inside to no stress to direct the place. I got here on time, just some few minutes to 8 am. I hanged around for the orientation to begin. There was running waster, tissues, liquid soap and hand sanitizers to observe covid 19 protocols. So, I just did justice to that and found a good place to sit. They left some aisles in between chairs and a lot of spacing to avoid contacting with each other. The program began at 8:15 am 15 mins late to the agreed time, but I learnt many students Haven't reported looking the number. We began with one Lecturer introducing us to the institution and the program.
A lot of things were heard at this orientation.
At the orientation, students seated and listening to the speaker
We sat for almost 4 hours non stop and the speaker has to let us break for some lunch or rest for 30 mins. There was a canteen at the campus where some food like plain rice and stew, Banku and groundnut soup are sold. I went there and bought plain rice and stew since I had not eaten from morning. There wasn't bench so I sat somewhere on the wall and eat the food.
having some lunch after we break about 30mins
We came back from break to continue on more things about lectures, E-learning, courses, grading system of the University and some tips about Malpractices which wouldn't be tolerated.
After all these tutorials, we paid for some bags of the school, it cost 20ghc. Though many were complaining the reason why they had collected fees of that huge amount and yet levying us on this petty thing. But what could we do ? We can't complain much, so I paid and received mine.
The bag I paid for in this display
We then began the actual registration of centre of preference. But for the registering course for this semester would be done online via the site given to us.
Fresh students registering for their preferred centres
From Nsuta to Mampong is just closed that going to Kumasi, so I chose Mampong to be my study centre.
When I had signed, I waited to communicate some few people especially those who would be my course mate.
I was lucky to have a motorbike, a Guy coming to Mampong town. I just stood at the road side at simple store and bothered in a taxi home.
I was so tired when I arrived in the house.
Thanks be to God that I am finally done with my admission.
