The Diary Game: 24/04/2021 - Attending My First Lecture, What's Up?

Hello All!,

I am back again with some more stuff in today's Diary. It's exactly 2pm at the time of writing this post in GMT. One would ask why am I closing my day just early like that. Yeah, at times when you survey the day and is full of packed activities, you have to free sometime to write.

What's up today for you? If you will remember, I early told you that I was yet to begin my Degree course through Distance Learning where I have been enrolled in University of Cape Coast. Due to the Covid 19, we could not begin the program early. So, today is the day we went for our books for the course.

I prepared myself and set off from my house when it was 8:30am. The time given has even passed 30mins. But, no problem since there would be serious lectures. Just some short speech would be delivered by our lectures.

I alight at simple store. I began to foot to the study centre since the it was few distance walk. I got to withdraw some money from my Momo Acc. behind the road side there was MTN merchant. Today is weekends and most Banks do not operate, so Momo withdrawal is very easy.

I arrived the place was full of students who have also come from far places to claim their books. I joined the queue. It was so slow for us to be called, fill our information and finally claim our materials, but I had to wait. finally it got to my turn.

The books were packed on the floor. The criteria of issuing the books were: checking the receipt of payment of fees, Admission number, appointment letter and whether you have registered with school. The collected my documents and I was through. The next was to give me my books.

I began to write my name on each of the books. They gave us 3 books for the main time. The rest of the books for this semester would be claimed next week when we come to Face-to-face lectures.

There is no time to waste. Since by one month time we are writing quiz 1. Meaning we will come to Lectures only on 3 times before we will write quiz...very short time indeed!

I don't want to leave for my house now since my kids would prevent me from learnings. Maybe I will leave for my house around 4pm to support my family.
