INTRODUCTION
This is a story of my very own counsin who has faced several challenges during his high school live till now, but happens to be happy in life now as he fines peace of mind.
Myself and Isaac
THE STORY
The name of my brother is Padmore Katoore Isaac. We lived together in Charia in the Upper West for more than 10 years before I left to stay with one of our uncles in Navrongo, in the Upper East Region of Ghana. I was a year ahead of him in education, he completed his primary education in the village (Charia). After he completed, our uncle also invited him to stay with him in Navrongo, in order to continue both his junior high and senior high education.
Before he came to Navrongo, he was already in Junior High two (2), so when he came and he was to be kept in school, they asked him to demote, that's, go back to form one instead of form three (3) so he became very bored and sad and he nearly gave up on education, because he was already repeated when we were together in primary two, making me a senior over him. He refused to be demoted to form one but suggested to rather sit in form two. He was accepted to be in form two.>
When they wrote their end of first term exams, he became the fifth position from the top, all the teachers were proud of him. He never gave up, but kept learning hard and harder. When they wrote the end of academic year exams, he topped the whole class and information was sent home about his improvement in the class and everyone was highly excited about that. He was awarded during their speech and price giving day with some items.
When they entered form three, he was given the position of Senior Boys Prefect (SP). For the whole year three, he was the one topping the class out of about 60 students. Isaac was always prepared for any academic task that came his way, he saw appointed with two other students in the school to represent them in the STMIE, a program organized by GES. At the end of everything, it was time for them to write their final basic exams (B.E.C.E), with my assistance, I made sure he prepared very well by studying on some important and likely examination topics. When they wrote and the results were out, though this results were not that good, he was still the one who had their best grade.

Before he came to Navrongo, our grandfather who was the overall boss of Ghana Revenue Authority, told him to come to his house after he completed. So when he completed, he left to Accra to our grandfather. When their results school placements were out, he had Wa Senior School to Study General Arts. In his form and two time, our grandfather made sure Isaac paid his school fees in full in order to avoid any dismissal as he was academically good, but during his final year, our grandfather said he was not going to pay his fees any longer and even to the extend of sucking him from his house, and he returned to the village. It got to about a month Isaac hasn't reported to school, because he couldn't pay the fees.
Isaac never gave up, he made his prayers and strong as possible whiles he hustles to fine the money. Likely on his part, one of our uncle's who was in Tamale heard about it and paid the fees as quick as possible to make sure he returns to school. Isaac then returns to school and when he wrote the final exams (WASSCE), he came out in flying colours. Isaac at home for about two years after completion to ensure he makes some amount of money for himself. Our Uncle who is Tamale made him to apply for Army because of his structure, endurance, energy, stamina, attitude. Isaac went through all the process and was told qualified for the profession. As I speak now, Isaac is currently in Accra at the Berma Camp going through training.
Our prayers are always with as he passes he passes through this difficult time of training.
In this life, never give up on what on what you think will help you, and always hope for the best in future.
