Hello, steemian.
It's yet another day on our lovely platform and I am doing great on it too. I grateful to @njaywan for this initiative.
I joined steemit in march. It wasn’t easy for a newbie but I managed. I thought it was just writing and making money. But along the line, I realize it's not just about that. You have to create quality contents to be reward.
I wrote many articles, participated in many contests but still, I was not being recognized. I looked up to the friend who introduced me. He gave me the best guide I needed. I am still grateful to him. But wouldn’t it be very cool and great if he could have been my supporter, a motivator, and someone who will make me fall in love with the platform more? I understand now he didn’t have that much power.
Power-up is a good thing. Many people are doing it. I have my reasons of which I will share below.
I remember when I was introduced, it was like a dream. Making money while enjoying your talent. As I said earlier, the support as in curation on my posts wasn’t coming. I could post many contents in a week and still get nothing. My friend could do nothing to support me. I wish to bring people to the platform. I don’t want them to be like me when I was starting.
I need to prepare myself to be able to give the support both in voting and in the \guidance, they need in posting. It wasn’t easy knowing that you could post something and get nothing. That’s why I am powering up to help the people I am bringing on board.
I had made my intentions clear on helping @campusconnectgh in bringing up a lot of people in my university that’s the University of Ghana. They will need curation support to help make them active. I want to help with that first before anyone does. If they start getting that from me. Then they will also feel motivated to one day bring people and support them. With this, we grow the platform.
Powering UP is great. Help me make this community great.
Cheers to all those who powered up!
It's very good to power up a bit. The drops will accumulate and become larger. Our pleasure 😃 for your consistency.
