I Rashid ashraf I am studying agriculture engineering in knust university and meteorology and climatology is a field in it
METEOROLOGY
Meteorology is the scientific study of the atmosphere and atmospheric conditions especially as they relate to weather and weather forecasting
This weather station is in knust university .
Things in there
At the weather station there is stevenson screen that is a white Louvered box that consists of themometers
And the is anemometer used for check the directions of the wind either from east north west or south
There is a cup anemometer used for checking wind speed or wind run
Rain gauge that is for check amount of rainfall daily
Sunshine recorder used for checking the intensity of sun ⛅️
The weather station is a very big place and there is a lot of information ℹ️ there I would like each one of u visit there one day
The weather station is near a river this river is very small but causes flood when there is a little rainfall and there is a lot of animals around there
Last week a very big Payton was near the river which nearly swallowed some one so for that reasons the have constructed a very big bridge over the river because early morning most students pass there to go to lectures
The river contains many fishes in it but due to tight security people are not allowed 🚫 to go near the river to catch fish 🎣
I would like them to call zoologist to come and attack and catch all animals around there so that people will be free when crossing the river this river is closer to a newly built restaurant
This restaurant is a very nicely built restaurant it near the river but far from the weather station aside of people crossing the river to lectures most usually cross the river to buy food from the new restaurant they have delicious foods and fantastic drinks 🍹 but sake of their food being quality is very expensive Shad out all my steemit members I love u all
