My Activities of Sunday -4th July 2021 (Free Health Screening )

Free screening day for the largest scrap dealers in Kumasi at Afful Nkwanta ..

These guys are always busy and hardly have time to cater for their health only to suddenly catch serious ailments ...

First of all I hanged a banner at their ends advertising the programme a week earlier

Then yesterday being the very day , having arranged with my team,we got there as early as 7am to ensure they were ready for the excercise ..

A tent was mounted and chairs arranged

All was now set and the people were much enthused for us to screen them .
I examined all the items and made sure they were all ready to go

Thereafter my team members ,A nurse ,Lab technician and the CEO of Al Khair Foundation were all seated and ready to discharge the various roles I had assigned them ..

The Honorable assembly member for the area graced the occasion in the middle of our activities

Hon Otuo-Acheampong Daniel (Assembly Member for Afful nkwanta elctoral area)

He commended the team and promised to organize a larger one for the whole community using our team
We also thanked him for his visit and run some few tests for him

A total of 54 persons were screened for Hepatitis B,Hepatitis C ,Malaria (Plasmodium falciparum ) .
Their Blood pressures were checked ,sugar levels monitored and Body Mass Indexes done for each .

The program was very successful.No adverse events happened and all participants were much satisfied and grateful to the team .
