JOIN COMMUNITIES:
I found out that here on hive, if you must succeed, you must learn to network. And how do you achieve that, by joining communities and being active, just like i illustrated with the above image. On steemit there are a whole lots of communities, so it is advisable for all newbies to locate and join these communities. These are communities to join of which the @steemghana is one of them. When you join communities you will be able to connect with people new people and blog in the category of your choice. You will definitely see communities that share in your likes and interest. Another advantage of joining a community is that your community members will definitely vote and support you. So it is very much important to join communities and make friend than to just publish posts. This is the more reason why we have blogs of some people having more votes than others. As a newbie that just joined @steemghana, take your time first to connect with people than being in a haste to publish hundreds of blogs at the same time. I can imagine how it feels when you open your page at all time and you are always seeing $0.00 dollar at all time, but you see other people's post with less quality content and you are wandering, what could be the issue. There is no big deal in it, the other person understood the need for networking and connection and it is working perfect for him. This is one of the major challenges newbies use to encounter once they come onboard on steem. I myself encountered this challenge, my blogs weren't doing well at all, i was confused and was wondering what the problem is, until my brother been my mentor @davchi had to show me some of these secrets. And when i saw it in our rally tip, i was like this is the key.
BAD BLOG AND GOOD BLOG.
As a newbie user, you must avoid bad blog. Examples of bad blogs includes:
Not sourcing images or quotes: This is seen as one of the offences(plagiarism) on steem. It is required that when you use images or make posts that are not your original content, you make reference to the source. You are liable to enter into black list, if caught in the act of plagiarism.
Not engaging after publishing: Most newbies does that, i even did it when i joined steem. I will make a post and just go my way, until i learnt how to reply on comments. It is still a good way to maintain relationships. When someone drops a comment on your post, do well to reply. And not just replying, but reply meaningfully. Even some meaningful replies and comments can earn one a vote.
Another bad post is posting an image without giving an explanation of what you are portraying. These are likely not going to help your content. So basically, a bad blog is one which readers takes their time to read and comment and there is no response/reply to such comments, it is very bad. On the other hand a good blog is one with comments and a corresponding response.
POSTING IN RALLY ROOM.
This is one of the tips that is so essential to me as a rallier. We have our discord rooms for ralliers, there is where we can post our link. After publishing a rally contest post don't forget to post the link to your post there. This is the only way your participation to the contest will count. Again it is expedient to support one another as ralliers. Before dropping the link to your post, you just say for instance supported @successjoh, then drop your contest link on the next line after it. When you enter a contest and publish your blog, be careful to make your entry on the account of the contest, right at the comment section of the blog.
Out of the many important tips/rules, i found these so fundamental to me.

Thanks for educating us on being active by joining communities. I'm enlighted on how others got more votes than others. Mostly, it is the habit of many newbies to made post and leave without visiting others post to read. There is a lot to learn through reading post of others as you might come across your challenge and find solution to it. Very relevant content @successjoh
