THE DIARY GAME 14/08/2021 My Saturday Activities

On Saturdays, I normally go to farms. Sometimes I attend to weddings and church meetings. On 14th day of August 2021, I attended funeral rite at Ashanti Mampong-Tunsuon . That very day I felt very sad as ever before. I waked up early in the morning around 4:30am and went to the funeral ground. Why am I saying that? The deceased person, Sister Yaa Birago,who was pupularly known as Baby Yaa, was my brother's wife. She was a businesswoman. She used to sell yams, Mangos and others. She wakes up early in the morning cleaned the environment and prepared her breakfast. She covered her breakfast and told her three kids, I am going to Mampong-Kofiase Asaam for some yams for sale. Wait for me at home I will be back very soon. She arranged for Aboboyaa Driver and set off for business. On her way to Kofiase-Asaam, She had a fatal accident. A private car 🚗 driver who was drank missed his way from Kofiase road on a near by village in Mampong-Krobo. At the Krobo junction, the private car collided with the Aboboyaa machine and a saddened accident happened. My wife and that of the Aboboyaa Driver died at that moment of the incident. Later on, the private car driver also died after being rushed to Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.*

The funeral celebration was full of sorrows and distressed. My wife attended the church of Christ Spiritual Movement in Ashanti Mampong. The church and her friends, workers came to join the family members to do the memorial and burial services of our wife, daughter, sister cursin and mother Baby Yaa. After everything, she was sent to Mpanya her home town in the Ashanti Mampong for the burial service. Some images were captured during the funeral celebrations.
