How to make your ornamental plants have an umbrella shape

Ornamental plants are very essential when it comes to the beautification of our environment. They are grown purposely for decoration of the environment and land scape designs.

They can be nicely shaped and molded into very nice looking structure. They are shaped in various styles.

Let me take you through a simple way to make your ornamental plant look like an umbrella. I know you have probably come across this type of plants and wondering how come it looks like this.

Probably thinking of doing similar thing in your backyard or garden. It’s very simple.

This is what actually happens. As you can see in the image above, this ornamental plant is in the process of becoming an umbrella tree.

This tree has been planted here for some months now. Due to the presence of cattle and some herbivorous animals within the town, it has been protected with blocks. These blocks are arranged in a circular way to form a defense all around it.

It’s about 5 feet grown now. You can allow it to grow to a desire height then you just get a rope, tie to several number of stones. Then tie the rope to the branches and allow them to hung.

This way the tree changes direction and as it grows, it grows in different direction. As it keeps growing, then it’s becoming an changing into the shape of an umbrella. You can then take out these stones when its in a nice shape then start trimming it’s branches and leaves.

This is a simple way to have an umbrella tree around your gardens and building.
