Hello everyone,
It is another exciting day and as usual I am grateful to God for life and to leaders of this wonderful steemit community @steemghana and @steemit as a whole for providing us with a platform that we can share our daily activities on regardless of how the day went.
As citizens of this great country, we all know things aren't getting any better so lets not forget to pray so God will bless us with selfless and visionary leaders who will help make this country a better place. Its my daily prayers that God should help bless everyone in this platform with their needs.
WORK ACTIVITIES TODAY
Since tomorrow being 15th of December is the deadline for most of the direct tax type payments namely Pay-As-You-Earn (P.A.Y.E) and Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), I had to reach work early today so I could work on the validation and payments before tomorrow being the deadline.
I had to visit two of our clients for their SSNIT cheques so I could pay on their behalf. I had to also prepare a letter on behalf of a client to SSNIT office requesting to reactivate their SSNIT payments. Running these errands really made today a bit stressful.
For the SSNIT the validation is done online and the payments at a bank or any SSNICE office but with the P.A.Y.E the lodging and payments are both done online on Ghana Revenue Authority portal.
I had to close at exactly 5PM today because I was battling with severe body pains. I further even told my boss I wouldn't be coming to work God willing tomorrow because I willl be visiting the hospital for a checkup. My dream of reaching home early today so I could rest was shuttered by serious traffic from Dansoman to Anyaa.
