Violence against women in Pakistan is increasing day after day. Women rape, harassment at work places, harassment at public places and domestic violence against women have become a matter of routine in Pakistan. There are various causes of violence against women. However, violence against women can be overcome by taking strict measures.

Women harass at public places. They are not treated well. They become victims of harassment at parks, market and on roads. There are many cases of harassment in Pakistan. Recently, a TikTok star, Aisha was harassed brutally by mob in Miner Pakistan. Similarly, a woman who was harassed by a group of men while traveling in a Qinghai Rickshaw in Lahore on independent day.

Moreover, women become victim of rape in Pakistan. They are not safe anywhere. There are many cases of rape in Pakistan. Recently, a woman was raped by two men in front of her children on motorway M2. A few year ago, in Qasoor, rape and murder of six years old, Zainab sparked outrage in Pakistan. She was coming back after recite Quran, on the way she was abducted by a man. Similarly, many other cases reveal the raise in number of cases of violence against women.

Furthermore, domestic violence against women has deeply rooted in society. Women face several kinds of violence at home. They are financially department on their male members of family. Neither they can get sufficient money nor they are allowed to earn money to fulfil their needs.They remain deprive of personal decisions.They also become victim of physical punishment on the charge of disrespect.

As every problem has its causes, patriarchal society is a major cause of domestic violence against women in Pakistan. Lack of women education, poor implementation of law and negative role of judiciary are main responsible factors of violence against women in Pakistan.

As every problem has it solution, violence against women also can be overcome by taking some serious steps. Concerned authorities should enforce effective laws regarding violence against women. Judiciary must held culprits accountable and give them historical punishment. Government should give incentive to women, that is why, they a run their own business. Government must educate the masses.
