Hello great Women of SteemWomen Club Community. It feels good to take part in this contest. I admire creativity ( art) a lot and I love it when I'm trying something new and eventually get a beautiful result. Well I used Ankara fabric to make rose for dress and I would love to share the steps with everyone here.
This fabric Rose can be made with hand or sewing machine but I used the combination of both in order to make the process easier and faster.

The materials used include;

• Ankara material
• Scissors
• Hand needle
• Sewing machine
• Thread

Here are the steps I took;

Step 1 : Measure and Cut the Material

I first of all cut the material into pieces but since the pieces were not long enough, I had to join them to get my desired longer length.

Step 2: Fold the Upper Right Corner Together with the Left

I took one corner of the fabric and join with the other then stitch it together.

Step 3: Gather the Strip

This step, I pulled the end of the thread in order to gather the material strip.

Step 4: Form the Center of the Rose

I pulled the beginning of the thread even more together to gather the center of the rose.

Step 5: Preview the Rose

This is the last step where I rolled up my rose and fluffed it to see how it looks like before using hand needle to stitch it.

This beautiful rose can be used on plane brown, green or white dress because the fabric consist of different colors. These fixed hands I made can be used too.
