HARAPPA MUSEUM
Short History
This city is known as Harappa city and in Harappa, I will talk about Harappa Museum which was established here five thousand years ago. The people here were very happy and they were enjoying their life here because they have all the facilities. There are those who are with us now, but there was something wrong with them that caused them to suffer the punishment from Allah and the nation perished. We have no idea of the history here at all. Here we also know that this nation was sitting on the bank of the river. The flood may have destroyed them, and the earthquake may have destroyed them. It has also been heard that the ruler of this place was very oppressive and cruel. He used to oppress his people a lot. Maybe Allah Almighty has punished this nation because of it.
So it has been destroyed seven times five thousand years ago. It has been heard that this place has been destroyed seven times. From there, the name of human beings disappeared. But after some time, when the British passed by here, they saw the condition of this place and they thought that they should be excavated to find out what was the culture and way of life of this place, so they considered it. He thought and started digging here.
As they excavated, many things came out of it which made them very useful. There were also handicrafts made by the people, which shows that the people here were very skilled. A lot of similar things have been recovered from here. So the British came here and searched the place and they found out what kind of people they were and what kind of work they did and what was their way of life then the least things discovered here. The thing is that there were no war objects here. It was known that the people here were peaceful. In the wars that were not there were people living in peace because the weapons are very visible here.
But in this day and age, Pakistan is here and it is a historical city of Pakistan so this historic city has been taken under the supervision of the government of Pakistan and excavated here and from here a room by collecting various things. I have closed so that people can come here and see how people used to live here.
Visiting Story
Now I am going to tell you that I went there for a walk in this place so that I too can know it is a good way so I left my house with my friends and reached Harappa city. So as soon as we got to his door, the first thing we saw was everything outside of him. He was looking very pretty from the outside. As soon as we saw it, the ticket was very low in price because it is a government place, so the fee here is very low, so he had only 20 rupees ticket here.
So as soon as we bought the ticket and proceeded we first saw two plots which were very beautiful. There was grass and there were flowers around it which looked very beautiful. They were made because people come and sit here and eat and so on and go home after playing sports here because when we go further there are not as many seating arrangements as there are made here. Yes, because this plot has been made so that people can sit here and enjoy it.
A beautiful building has been erected between these two plates so that whatever was discovered during the excavations would be kept in a glass enclosure so that people could come and see it. As soon as we went in, we saw that there were a lot of things that were useful in their lives. And there were also human skeletons. There was a skeleton of a man. It was a skeleton of a woman. They were also found here during excavations. Be able to see the structure.
And then as we moved on, we saw a variety of banners with all of its history written on them. Reading its history gives us an idea of how old this city is and when. When discovered here, there were many other beautiful landscapes besides this. There were paved roads here. To pass through, flowers were planted around them to make them look beautiful.
And then as we proceeded we saw that there were paved roads here too so that people would not have any difficulty in passing and these were also arrangements for sitting because people used to walk around a lot here. If they get tired, then when they get tired, then they find someplace to sit, then their arrangement was also complete here and besides, if you look around, you will see mountains of mud. There is a mountain which has destroyed the houses of the people. When this nation was destroyed, the soil beneath it came up. They were destroyed in this way.
As we moved on, we saw things here, so we went ahead and saw that all the effects of the people who lived here five thousand years ago were visible, their streets were wide. In addition to this, water wells have been seen here which suggests that the people used to draw water from here, and also they had made drains in the streets which shows that the people here are civilized people. And he was very careful about his hygiene.
Here we see a ditch which gives us an idea that these people knew how to defend themselves. We have seen very few weapons here but they knew how to defend themselves. They were a peace-loving nation but still had no problems. Could have come because of which they made their own arrangements to defend themselves.
And then in the same way when we grew up we saw that there was a very long tomb here which was the tomb of Hazrat Baba Noor Shah Waliullah. His tomb was about 9 yards long so it is very long now He used to be tall and this Baba was very old and he was very dear to Allah and he was a good man. His grave has been made here. People come here and pray here.
There are rings made of stone outside his court but these rings were made of gold which was placed here many years ago. But this ring will be of stone which is why he could not steal from there, so this is also a history which we know may have happened but here people ask for their prayers through him.
And then as we went a little further, we saw an old mosque here, which indicates that this nation was a Muslim nation and they used to worship Allah Almighty. That is why this old mosque has been built. The people who are there go to worship Allah Almighty so they also made their own place of worship so that nation was a Muslim nation.
So that's how we get to the end of the Harappan Museum, and we've visited the whole thing, and we've found out what kind of people lived here and how they were destroyed. This has been a historic visit for us, so I really enjoyed it. I have visited this place and I have informed you about every single thing about this place so I hope that if you come to this place you will not have to ask anything from anyone because You have learned everything from this post, so thank you to all of you who have dedicated your time to this post.
