~Caring of our eyes 👁️👁️
Maybe nobody is paying enough attention to this important part of our face and we need to change this current situation. There's certain saying that states about the soul of anyone: our eyes are the straight way to it, like a mirror or window. No doubt, due to the benefits of having a healthy sight, it's not a waste of time by dedicating some minutes a day to our eyes. Let's consider the following and important advices:
🤓 Just use your eyeglasses to read if you have them for this specific activity, it's not necessary to do it all the day in the case of no anomaly and go quickly to a doctor for any trouble related with eyes.
🥴When you wake up at the mornings, try not to read anything until a hour later so you're eyes can be ready for it. Pupils need time to be used for the new lighting condition after 8 hours of continuous resting in dark.
👀Make regular exercises for the muscles of your eyes by looking towards up and down, even both sides. This is really good for your sight of course.
🖥️For TV, devices or PC screens, you have to put them in a lower hight than your eyes so that they can be partially covered by eyelids, not completely open because in that condition is harder to guarantee the moisturizing of them. This is also valid for reading books, where you have to maintain a minimum distance of 30cm approximately between eyes and object to be focused for a while.
📏In long reading session, look at the far away point of room (maybe a corner or ceiling) to give them the opportunity to rest every 20 minutes.
👶🏻Despite this strong era of millennials, babies shouldn't watch any type of screen until they reach the age of three. Their eyes needs a chance to get enough development and not the long exposures of bright lights.
🕶️Use sunglasses that will cover the entire socket, not just the eye itself. Make sure they're having the proper UV protection number. The more the cypher, the higher protection.
📺When you watch TV, turn on the light of the room because if don't do that it's practically like seeing a powerful spotlight in dark and I don't think it's good for eyes. Most of people are still doing this at nights in their bedrooms, specially
when they're going to sleep.
💡Focus a spotlight near to your book or screen to see it better, not only light of bedroom is enough. If you don't have one, you can use the light of your cellphone.
