The Diary Game. Spending Time Cooking, Washing and speaking with my sister-in-law by @estysam on 07/01/2022

It's a beautiful day today and the weather is bright, sunny and breezy as usual, courtesy of the harmattan. I am @estysam, you are welcome to my blog.

Morning Activities

Waking up as early as possible, I started my day by having my regular morning devotion with my family after which I set off for the day's task.
I thoroughly cleaned the house since it was weekend, attended to my baby and had my bath. We had breakfast of custard and fried eggs.
After settling down for a while, I did some laundry.

The Appointment

I had initially booked an appointment with my designer for today. I needed to see her one- on-one to discuss about some of my dresses I'll be sewing later and how to go about them. I also took a lace to her to make a blouse for me.

Afternoon Activities

After coming back from my seamstress' shop, I rushed to the nearby market to get groceries I'll be needing for stew for Sunday's rice. Getting to the market, I noticed that the place was very scanty and things were not really in their usual prices. Though I managed to get what I went for but on a higher price.

My sister-in-law called me and since it's been long I heard from her, I opted for a video call and she obliged. We talked at length and called it a day.

Evening Activities

Towards evening, I removed the clothes I had washed earlier from the rope, folded them and kept them in their right places. Since baby was playing, I brought out our outfits for Sunday and ironed them. Not quite long, hubby came back.

I was getting tired already but I managed to fry the chicken I had steamed earlier. We had dinner, and went to bed after bathing.
