Hello beautiful women of @steemwomensclub community.

Today I am sharing to you my 5 favorite place in my City. I live in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. Lapu-lapu is one of the 6 Cities in Cebu. My City is called the "Historic Resort City". This is because of the beautiful beaches and Hotel Resorts surrounding the City.
These are my old photos taken before COVID pandemic.

First place is the Sto. Niño Church

One on my list is this Church. This is the where i got married and also where we held the baptism of my only son. This place is where also i need a time for myself just to pray and share anything i have in mind. To give thanks, ask forgiveness and blessings to overcome the problems i have encountered in my life, my family and also asking to end the pandemic soon so we can all live a normal life again.

The church is designed like the hat of the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan who was conquered by our National Hero LAPULAPU. To whom we name the City.

2nd Place is the JOLLIBEE fast food restaurant

The place is one of my sons favorite place to eat his favorite food. The chicken, fries, steak, spaghetti, burgers and anything that comes in this restaurant. This is a happy place for kids and parents who want to make their kids happy.

The place is just a walk away from the church. So after visiting or attending a mass, we go dine in this fast food restaurant. But sad to say for now no kids allowed inside for safety and health protocols.

The price of the food from this restaurant ranges from Php 35.00 up Php 700.00 for a bundle meal.

The 3rd place is the Mactan New Town

The place us just across the Church. This a place where in after eating at JOLLIBEE you can stroll or just gather and walk around with your family or love ones. The place also has a mini park, restaurants, banks, and BPO companies. Before the pandemic there a lot of people who just love to stay and relax at this place because of it's ambiance and a picture perfect place.

The 4th place is the Mactan Newtown Beach Resort

The beach resort is part of the Newtown properties . The resort has white sands and clean beach area.

The resort also has rooms if you want to stay for days or just overnight. When we last go there the entrance fee for day use only is about $ 3-4 each person and for kids below 5 is free of entrance. This is a beautiful beach resort with lots of amenities also like riding a banana boat or jet ski.

Or if you want to just have fun under the sun. To relax and feel the sound of the waves of the beach.

The 5th and my last favorite place Mercato de Mactan

This is a food place with many food stalls of different cuisines. There are a lot of food choices from Korean foods, Thai, American or Filipino foods. They have a lot to offer.

I love the place because this is where we can taste the different cuisines of the other countries. Where in we got to eat their kind of food and taste how delicious it is.

The prices of the food here ranges from $2.00 up to $6.00. They opened from Wednesday until Sunday from 5pm- 10pm. They also have live bands or singers who will serenade or play music while you're having your dinner.

And that is all my favorite places here in my City: the City of Lapu-lapu Cebu, Philippines
