So I am sorry to be a bit late in the contest, was somehow too busy and also network was so bad at my area, hope i will be pardoned for late submission?

Today I will be talking about the Edo culture, although I am not from Edo state or the Edo tribe I just love they way the dress especially during their cultural festival or marriage.
The Edo culture is one culture I love so much, the red bead they use around the neck, on the head and the white linen they use around the breast region makes them all beautiful and attractive.
You know white cloth has a way of getting into the eye of many, so when they appear with this attire the red bead both on the neck and head stands out.
Edo people have one of the richest dress cultures on the African continent. Their fashion accessories holds royalty and typically includes red beads, body marks, bangles, anklets, raffia work and so on.

One may be wondering how much each of these materials cost, well stop thinking, here is the amount, the red bead otherwise called in Edo ranges from 2000NGN(4.87 USD), 4000NGN(9.73USD) and above, while the white linen use is 300NGN(0.73 USD), a yard so depending on the yards that could ho round your breast and armpit then you can purchase that.
All these price listed above could be either less or more than one(1) steem and One SBD in Nigerian currency being that one SBD in Nigeria currency cost 2690 and one Steem cost 193.28 in Nigeria currency

The female ties the linen round the breast region of their body while the men sews it and use it like kaftan.
Wondering why I dressed these way in the picture I used being that I am not from the Edo tribe? Let me clear you doubt. Some years back I was teaching in one of the schools around my vicinity, and so we had a cultural day, a day we showcase different cultures and cultural groups in Nigeria. Tribes like Hausa, yoruba, igbo, ibibio(my tribe) etc.
was well represented so i decided to represent the Edo tribe, I had to take time to learn the language, the way they greet, the way the dress, the food they eat etc. It was really fun getting to know more about another person's culture.

If I wasn't from Akwaibom or frim the ibibio tribe, I would really have loved to dress like the Edo tribe when getting married🤗🤗🤗, hmm but its well, don't look at me like that, i didnt say anything bad, lol.😂😂😂😂😐😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Its fun admiring and loving another culture or tribe apart from yours, there is indeed enough to learn.
Less I forget I call on @zellypearl and @evegrace to come and participate.
