This traditional market tradition has been going on for years and needs to be maintained because it makes it very easy for people to buy and sell goods. and can also help the community's economy.
The tradition of traditional markets, remains lively in the midst of the rapid and onslaught of the digital market today.
The traditional market in this place sells various kinds of residents' needs, including basic needs, side dishes, fruits, vegetables to clothes, bags, sandals, and tools for the needs of farmers.
Basically, traditional markets are places where sellers and buyers meet and are marked by direct buyer-seller transactions, buildings usually consist of stalls or outlets, booths and open grounds opened by the seller or a market manager.
Especially in remote areas such as where I live in Sawang sub-district, kab. North Aceh traditional market tradition is very useful and also very helpful because it makes it easier for the community to find what they want at an affordable price.
In one sub-district, there will definitely be a day to hold a traditional market, it could be just one day or it could be more depending on the government in each sub-district.
The traders who come to sell are not from local traders, but also from traders outside the area or outside the local sub-district who come to sell at this traditional market, for example traders from Matangglumpang Dua, they come by using pick up cars. Sometimes there are also farmers who come to sell their crops from the garden and usually they use a becak to transport their wares. Usually on this traditional market day people buy their basic needs for stock until the next traditional market day.

Similarly, the next day, the traders moved to another place that had been agreed upon and determined not to sell only in one place but to sell anywhere where there was a traditional market.
This schedule arrangement is done so that traders can simultaneously open the market, so that residents who come from far away can get all their needs at the traditional market. Traditional market day is the most awaited day for residents in the interior because it can make it easier for them to get their needs.
