The Diary Game Better Life (MY ACTIVITY TODAY) 01 Desember 2021, following the tradition before going down the ricefield

Assalamualaikum all stemwomenclub friends, how are you all for today. I hope you are always healthy, good luck always from me. so on this occasion I will share a little about my activities today, namely going to the khanduri padi event (khanduri Blang in Acehnese).

khanduri blang is an Acehnese tradition that is carried out after the rice harvest and before descending back into the fields or before the fields are plowed again. in the khanduri blang event there will be a prayer together and also a meal together.

Here there are several activities carried out by residents who are here, from starting to prepare several animals for slaughter, such as goats, cows, and chickens. And after all the animals have been slaughtered, now the women who are present here immediately take the chicken to the river bank to be cleaned and cut into small pieces first before cooking.

After everything has been cleaned, it is time for us to enter the next stage, that is, now we will start to cook the chicken. And the women who cook here, while waiting for the food to be ready, we went to help prepare the seats, while helping to cut onions for cooking and other needed things.

then first the event of cutting the chicken and also cooking the chicken together. it seems that at times like that people are very happy. especially when cooking chicken, joking with each other and that is one of the memories that will always be remembered and usually at the time of khanduri rice fields in the future, memories will be discussed again at this time. it only applies to certain mothers.

After all the chicken dishes are cooked, the khanduri committee will quote rice from everyone who holds khanduri. after finishing quoting rice. then the committee began to take gravy from everyone to be distributed to invited guests, or distributed to people who prayed together. because it was the fathers who did the prayer together. while the mother's job is to cook only.

and after the gravy is taken from each person then we can eat, because the one for khanduri has already been taken. then the only gravy we eat and can also be taken home.

Now we have entered the stage of praying and after praying we gather again to eat the dishes that have been cooked earlier. The rice that we have wrapped using banana leaves, now we eat together here in a makeshift place, eating together like this is really very delicious, especially if we eat rice that has been wrapped in banana leaves.

After the meal, we immediately cleaned up the place together so that we could go home immediately, we always hold events like this when we want to start farming, because this has been our tradition here from the start, this is all I can give on this occasion this time about my activities today with khanduri rice fields, and I hope you are all happy with what I give this time, warm greetings from me to all friends in this steemwomenclub.
